Courageous Honor Begin at Home

As published on the Wikipedia Courageous is an upcoming film by Christian drama produced by Sherwood Pictures and will soon be released on September 30, 2011. The film will be the fourth film by Sherwood Pictures, creators of Flywheel, Facing the Giants, and Fireproof. Filming in Albany, Georgia concluded in June 2010. The film will be marketed by Provident Films, which is also marketed their films before.


Plot: When a tragedy strikes close to home, four police officers struggle with their faith and their roles as husbands and fathers; together they make a decision that will change all of their lives.

Courageous in the film will provide entertainment, with great drama, humor, action, and touched the hearts of the storyline you've come to love from Sherwood there are basic themes in the movie that will inspire and challenge men to become godly fathers.

Courageous film was directed by Alex Kendrick, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Stephen Kendrick. Kendrick also stars in the film, along with Ken Bevel, Kevin Downes, and former running back Tony Stallings. Approximately half of the cast and crew of volunteers from Sherwood Baptist Church, while the rest are carried by invitation only auditions.
